yours truly. My friends are very talented artists and fellow writers (these
people have even done the awesomely awesome fanart for me in the past),
therefore I think you should check them out. Now. Go.
I don't use images
when I link people, but for those who do...here are some link banners that
you're more than free to use. Just please, whatever you do, do not direct link
them onto this site or I will track you down and hurt you badly. Save them on your own
database.
Thanks.
Literature
that is Jasmine Helper
It took her long enough, but now Jasmine has finally got her amazing story up
online for all to read. I linked her FictionPress account for now since she
does not have a site for her story yet, but in the meantime go take a look at
"The Lorespeaker" story she is working on. Go and read it now!
by Manasi
Manasi is one of the most talented writers that I know and has a lot of
potential with words, even though I don't think she is entirely aware of that.
I really like some of what she had up on her FictionPress account, but I think I'll post this
one instead. I have yet to get into "The Heir of Lajandra", but one
of these days I will. In the meantime, that doesn't mean you can't get into it
before yours truly.
Silent Hill 2: Letter From Silent Heaven
by Ryan M. Usher
Wow, here is a rarity: I am actually linking a fanfic! But this is not just any
fanfic, you see. It is a novelization of Silent Hill 2, my favorite game
of all time. If you played the game, I would recommend checking it out. If you
have not and do intend to play it someday, then maybe you want to put this on
your pending list. Trust me, it's worth it.
by Vincent N. Terrell
I don't
know Vincent all that well, but I read some of his stories over FictionPress
and my mouth just dropped. I'm not big fan of cat people or furries or
whatever, but his writing is amazing. Go. Do some reading. Lots of it.
Friends
Rinjiland
-- Lindsay/Rinji
Rinji has been a good friend of mine for a few years; she also has redone her
comic quite a number of times. Her art has evolved greatly since I first met
her. Now that she is done with her school she should be getting back to working
on her site, but when she does get back to working on it, it'll be awesome. Get
back to this one in short time, especially her comic she is working on, The Last Angelician.
This was probably the very first webcomic I ever started reading, or at least
the very first artist I contacted and actually contacted me back. I don't get
around to talking to Becky all that much like I'd want to, but I don't single
her out on anything. Check out her comics. She's got quite a few.
My friend Faronon (also known as Farfar) does some pretty neat tricks with 3D
images and whatnot. She hasn't updated in ages, which she should. I would
especially like to see more of her tattoo and design art that she does so well
in.
Nightshade dearest is a very talented artist. I have yet to see any of her
writing work, but she's most likely just as good of a writer. Her site went
down a while ago though so she's using this one as a temporary place to host
her works.
Posed to Death -- Rococo
Rococo is an amazing artist just the same. I love her character, Ro, who is
taken after her namesake as well. I'm still waiting for her to get some writing
set up on her FictionPress account, but I guess I'll just have to be patient.
In the meantime, go and check out her beautiful artwork and sexy web layout!
A fellow Silent Hill fan who asked me to become an affiliate with her
site, and her being the talented artist that she is, how could I refuse? Check
out some of Q's fanart and original works (and music videos as well)...or die.
No Escape
by Nick Greenlee
In a regular case, I wouldn't link something completely non-related to
literature, art, or this site. However, this isn't a regular case. As a matter
of fact, No Escape is a work of art in itself. Based off of the Silent
Hill franchise, this fan-made movie has gone above and beyond the video
games, along with its very own unique and creepy allure. Check it out, if you
don't mind screaming like a four-year-old girl every two seconds.
Broken
Saints
I don't
think it would be right in my own morals to forget to link up Broken Saints,
because I must say that my inspiration to manipulate words like I do today
wouldn't be the same without it. I owe a lot to the people that made this for
that reason alone. So if you don't check out Broken Saints and are too
ADHD to pay attention and like it...then you're missing out on a GOOD story.
This was my
writing teacher from last year. She's an amazing person and was really fun to
talk to. She is also a very good story-teller hence, she writes novels. In
spite of her constant taunting she was a fun teacher and I miss having her
classes. Der sigh. But in any case, purchase one of her WolfWalker books
sometime. They'll be very well worth the money, I think.
