Fan Art
M.
Rebecca "Lycorne" Shropshire
Rei Emiko01
This would be my very first fanart ever, people. Very first. So I
really cherish these two pieces drawn by Lycorne, who also happens to be one of
the very first readers of "The Lupis Project". Unfortunately that was
way back when I had the original up, which sucked ass. That was back when Rei
used to have long hair. But regardless, I love this drawing Lycorne did of Rei.
The expression really brings out her personality.
Brothers
Kind of difficult to tell that they're related, huh? Despite the
fact that they never really get along, that is. This would be Teji and Taj (as
if you can't tell from the picture itself. Oh well) Wakeman. I was wondering
who Lycorne's favorite characters were and it seemed to have been Teji.
Lindsay
"Rinji" Butler
He's Taken
That's right, he's taken. Teji's been claimed into fandom, it
seems. Anyway, it also seems that Teji likes to steal a lot of the fan service
right back. This was actually done a long time ago, but seeing as I lack in
fanart from "The Lupis Project" I figured that I might as well post
some of Rinji's old school fanart as well. This amuses me for some reason.
An
Eternity
I love this picture. It really does capture the relationship
between Rei and Orion and their events in Mithgarthr really well. If I recall
correctly, this is an actual event from the story itself; Rei and Orion
standing over the overpass that looks the ruins of Mithgarthr. This is my
favorite, I think.
The
Manifestations of Rei
(Viewer Discretion)
Actually, I'm still at a tie between liking "An Eternity"
and this one; I think it'd make a pretty decent cover for the story. It's
actually a picture of Rei and her personas. The center character with the blade
in hand is Rei herself, whilst the persona to the left is Child, the one to the
right is Martyr, and, of course, the one above is Lupis. In truth, the final
metamorphosis of Lupis really doesn't possess human anatomy at all, but I do
like Rinji's interpretation.
Loki
I suppose she needed some practice, so Rinji decided to draw Loki shortly after
I did (it's in my junk section, by the by). I think it must have been the
horns. But regardless, I still love this picture, no matter how much she says
it's sloppy. As a matter in fact, I even made a desktop version of this
picture, which, naturally, she still made a ten times better one than
me (high resolution, so be warned).
O yes, we rule. Ha. And I daresay, Loki looks rather cute. Honestly, does he
deserve such a picture?
Rich Stuart
"Dreamchild"
There's more to my writing than words, and there's more to inspiration than
just art. In this case, good ole Rich composed the tune to
"Dreamchild", the whole theme to Seraphim Ascent, out of this MIDI file that I had always deemed to sound
very much like the song. But now it's got a touch of Rich!
